Do, maim

Extemporaneous oratory concedes its own defeat

Although it bears mention

That victory is never realized,

Only surprised

By the chasers of its tail, the children

Caught up in tempestuous breezes

Shrieking out of joy or fear,

No matter the words today

For the two encourage happiness

Where it previously lay stagnant.

And musty air kills far more

Than firework smoke.
